This design recreates the original 2005–2006 era 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment “Red Currahee” shirt, based on the version worn during the height of the unit’s combat deployment years. This is the OG original style, bringing back the classic front chest insignia and bold back design recognized by Currahees who served during that period.

The 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment (1-506th INF), part of the historic 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), carries a legacy that traces back to the legendary “Currahees” of World War II and the men of Band of Brothers. The nickname “Currahee”, meaning “stand alone” in Cherokee, reflects the regiment’s tradition of toughness, independence, and fighting spirit.

During the 2005–2006 timeframe, 1-506th Infantry (Red Currahee) was heavily engaged in combat operations in support of the Global War on Terror, particularly in Iraq, conducting combat patrols, counterinsurgency operations, route security, raids, and stability missions during one of the most demanding periods of the war. Soldiers of the battalion operated under constant pressure in hostile environments, earning a reputation for resilience, aggression, and brotherhood forged through shared hardship.
